Sophia Agranovich, eine vielfach preisgekrönte Pianistin, Aufnahme-Künstlerin und Pädagogin, wird international als „kühne, furchtlose Pianistin in der Tradition der Romantiker der Goldenen Ära“ gefeiert und als „Tigerin des Klaviers“ gelobt. Ihre Auftritte werden für ihre „ungewöhnliche Schönheit“ und „überragende Musikalität“ hoch geschätzt.
Als Steinway Artist hat sie renommierte Bühnen weltweit bespielt – von der Lincoln Center und der Carnegie Hall bis hin zum Théâtre Na Loba und dem Ehrbar Saal. Ihre Diskografie umfasst 11 Alben, die regelmäßig von der Kritik gelobt und in den Musikcharts hoch platziert werden.
Frau Agranovich hat zahlreiche Auszeichnungen erhalten, darunter mehrere Erste Preise sowie Gold- und Silbermedaillen. Als angesehene Musikpädagogin wurde sie mit diversen Lehrpreisen geehrt und ist in „Who’s Who in America“ sowie „Who’s Who in the World“ gelistet.
Sie ist stimmberechtigtes Mitglied der NARAS (National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences), Mentorin bei GrammyU, künstlerische Leiterin der klassischen Konzertreihe im Watchung Arts Center sowie Programmdirektorin der Music Educators Association of New Jersey.
Ihren Bachelor- und Masterabschluss erwarb sie an der Juilliard School, wo sie auch als Teaching Fellow unterrichtete. Ihre Doktoratsstudien setzte sie an der Columbia University fort.

Sophia Agranovich, a highly acclaimed pianist, recording artist, and educator, is internationally celebrated as a „bold, daring pianist in the tradition of the Golden Age Romantics“ and praised as a „tigress of the keyboard.“ Her performances are widely recognized for their „uncommon beauty“ and „superior musicianship.“
As a Steinway Artist, she has performed on prestigious stages around the world – from Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall to Théâtre Na Loba and Ehrbar Saal. Her discography includes 11 albums, consistently praised by critics and achieving high chart placements.
Ms. Agranovich has received numerous awards, including several First Prizes as well as Gold and Silver Medals. As a respected music educator, she has been honored with various teaching awards and is listed in Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in the World.
She is a voting member of NARAS (National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences), a mentor at GrammyU, artistic director of the classical music series at the Watchung Arts Center, and program chair of the Music Educators Association of New Jersey.
She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the Juilliard School, where she also taught as a teaching fellow. She continued her doctoral studies at Columbia University.
